Buying a wedding band online – safely
I get this question all the time: ” Is it safe to buy wedding bands online?” The real question you should be asking yourself is…
How many OTHER shoppers have had a safe experience with the company you’re looking at.
Yep. It’s about the people numbers. The greater amount of people who say they’ve shopped with the company, the lower the risk for you.
So these days, in addition to a ‘gold lock’ during checkout, I ALSO look for the following symbols on the website in question.
For example, here is a screenshot you might see on a typical jewelry site.
Click on the “iVouch” seal to see how many people have approved it.
So that’s how I do safe shopping. Look for the gold lock in your browser window when you check out. BUT before you checkout, look for a third party seal like the Ivouch seal or the BizRate seal, to see how well that merchant is trusted by previous shoppers.
GOOD LUCK in your wedding shopping!
Kisses for now,
I recommend Allurez.com as a safe site. They use the Ivouch seal.
